KD, or keyed different, means that each padlock ordered would have a unique key code. This is best for those who need maximum security and a limited number of padlocks.
KA, or keyed alike, are padlocks that come with the same key code, meaning that all keys would open all the padlocks within that KA code. This eliminates the need to carry many unique keys for multiple padlocks.
Stock items are shipped from our warehouse in Phoenix, Arizona within 1-2 business days of receiving the order. For custom orders such as key replacements, it takes 10 business days to ship.
Commercial products are warranted for 2 years against manufacturing defects and ABUS reserves the right to replace or repair the product at its discretion. ABUS will return the repaired or replaced product to the original purchaser.
Returned items will be subject to a 15% restocking fee & the cost of shipping back to the warehouse unless defective. Defective products will follow our warranty procedures.
