Locks:
ABUS warrants its locks sold within the US to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase. This warranty is extended only to the original consumer purchaser with proof of purchase. During the warranty period, ABUS USA will, at our sole discretion, repair, replace or refund the purchase price of any product found to be defective and covered by this warranty when it is returned by the original owner with proof of purchase. It is the original owner’s responsibility to ship the defective product to ABUS USA. ABUS USA will inspect the product upon receipt then send the repaired/replacement item at no charge to the customer.
This warranty covers manufacturer’s defects, not damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidents, misuse or abuse, modification, improper repair, theft or attempted theft, neglect, lost/forgotten personalized codes/keys, extreme temperatures, or failure to follow instructions for proper use. Broken or bent keys are not covered by this warranty policy. Replacement keys can be ordered at keys.abus.com.

Bicycle Helmets
ABUS warrants its bicycle helmets sold within the US to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. This warranty is extended only to the original consumer purchaser with proof of purchase of a CPSC certified ABUS bicycle helmet. During the warranty period, ABUS USA will, at our sole discretion, repair, replace or refund the purchase price of any helmet found to be defective and covered by this warranty when it is returned by the original owner with valid proof of purchase. It is the original owner’s responsibility to ship the defective helmet to ABUS USA for consideration. ABUS USA will inspect the helmet upon receipt then send the repaired/replacement item at no charge to the customer.
The ABUS helmet warranty covers manufacturer’s defects, not damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidents, crashes, misuse or abuse, modification, neglect, or failure to follow instructions for proper use. If you have undergone a bicycle related accident/crash on your ABUS bicycle helmet within two (2) years of purchasing your helmet, inquire about our ABUS USA Crash Replacement Policy.

Special note for bicycle helmet warranty: It is illegal to import/sell non-CPSC certified helmets in the United States. ABUS USA will not accept/process warranty claims on non-CPSC certified helmets. If you have purchased a non-CPSC certified ABUS helmet, please contact the seller from whom you purchased the product to inquire about the warranty policy/procedures on non-CPSC certified helmets.
