Engineered for serious protection, this folding lock earns its ABUS security level 15 rating. The 5.5 mm hardened steel bars are connected by specially designed, drill-resistant rivets. With ABUS Link Protection Shield, these rivets form a tough barrier against sawing attacks while still allowing the lock to remain flexible and easy to use. The ABUS XPlus cylinder further enhances security with our highest level of protection against lock manipulation, including picking.

The BORDO™ 6500KA also features an integrated 100 dB alarm that reacts when movement is detected. Thanks to the smart ABUS alarm technology, minor bumps or accidental contact trigger only a brief 5-second warning—while a real attack activates the full alarm.
